600 years ago, the holy land of Kashi (Varanasi), India, witnessed the divine presence of the supreme God Kabir Sahib, who came from His immortal abode Satlok to the realm of butcher Brahm Kaal to impart His absolute knowledge to His beloved souls trapped in the web of Satan Kaal. God Kabir, at a very tender age, started preaching His unique divine knowledge to the people and performed several divine spectacles at that time. Merely with His power of devotion, and in the absence of any resource of propagation like media, etc. God Kabir took 64 lacs people under His shelter and made all of them eligible for the attainment of salvation. The true spiritual knowledge of God Kabir is so powerful that it attracts souls like a magnet. This was the reason why 64 lac people became His disciples.
In this connection, God Kabir took the King of Kashi Veer Dev Singh Baghel and his queen into His refuge. He preached both His true spiritual knowledge and granted them true salvation mantras as indicated and certified in Gita 17:23. In this article, we will highlight a few incidents that happened in the life of Veer Dev Singh Baghel and how he became a disciple of God Kabir.
The highlights of the write-up will be as follows

Suksham Veda provides evidence that God Kabir took the pious soul King Veer Dev Singh Baghel into His shelter and gave him initiation. The following speeches certify the same.

After your death, when you leave this world, you will have to cross through these barriers. Beyond this point, you will need Satnam to move ahead towards Trikuti; otherwise, the 10th door, Brahmrandr, and the 11th door of ParBrahm (Akshar Purush) will not open. Moving ahead, let us read the whole story in detail as to how God Kabir took Veer Dev Singh Baghel in refuge.
Veer Singh Baghel was the King of Kashi city almost 600 years ago. It is natural for a King to be proud and arrange resources of opulence. The palace of the King was in a beautiful garden. Veer Dev Singh Baghel organised Kirtan at the order of his guru Brahman. The King was in his palace, and the Kirtan was going on in the nearby temple in the garden itself. A lot of saints, Brahmans, orators and listeners had come to attend Kirtan.
They were glorifying and praying to their respectable deities. They were telling gods like Ram, Krishna, Shiva, Goddess Durga, Ganesha, etc., to be the ultimate provider of salvation and ones who remove sorrows. The Lord who transcends souls from this deceased world to the eternal world. They were glorifying Shri Brahma Ji, Shri Vishnu Ji, and Shri Shiva Ji to be indestructible and unborn. Almighty Kabir also reached to that discourse and sat at a short distance. The orators were preaching, and the audience was listening with interest.
After some time, the guru Brahman of the King said, ‘O Bhak! It seems that you also preach, come! You also give some prasad of knowledge to the listeners.
God Kabir Ji said that ‘O Saints and great sages! You have already preached everything. Now, in front of your knowledge, it would be like showing a lamp to the Sun. What more knowledge shall I narrate?
Brahman and other devotees and saints present their requests together. The supreme God Kabir Ji said that ‘You will not be able to listen to my knowledge. Your ears will burst. The nerves of your mind will shrink. There will be wrinkles on your forehead. There will be a ruckus. You will quarrel with me.
All those present saints and devotees said ‘Bhakt Ji! We are sages-saints-devotees. We never fight. If anyone abuses us, then we remain quiet, we smile and go away. You are a devotee, you will discuss God for sure. We promise you, we won't quarrel or oppose.
The entire audience remained astonished after listening to the true knowledge of God Kabir. The speakers got jealous. The Brahman guru of the King went to him and said, ‘O Rajan! The weaver is telling that Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, whom we call supreme and immortal, are actually destructible. Salvation cannot be attained by doing their devotion. Kaal is the father of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, who gave the knowledge of the Gita by entering into the body of Shri Krishna.
Durga is their mother. There is some other supreme God who is more powerful than them, who never takes birth nor dies. The idols you worship as God are created by an artisan. While creating these idols, the artisan placed his foot on its chest and shaped it with a chisel and hammer. The creator of these idols is the artisan. This artificial deity is useless. Has this idol, God, ever talked with you? Has it provided any solution to sorrow? It is said
Moorti kooti patthar ki banayee। Karigar chhati de pahin।। Bhakti Gyan yog ka bheva। Teerath barat jap tap sab sewa।। Sabko Kaal jaal batavai। Jo koi karai narak mein jave।।
Veer Dev Singh sent a constable with a rod to bring Kabir Sahib. The constable said,’ O Sant Ji! The King has called you. God Kabir Ji said, ‘I do not have any work with the King. If the King has any requirement, then he will come here. Neither am I a Pandit, nor the servant of the King, I am not a Thakur, and I am not even making another country means I am not a traitor. Neither am I a magician-occultist nor a trickster. Why has the King called me? I will not go.
The constable went and added some spices to the words of God Kabir and told everything to the King. The Kings are wise. Veer Dev Singh Baghel pondered ‘If the saint had been greedy, then he would have immediately rushed. He did not come on the call of the King, then He is surely the form of God and not an ordinary person.
When the King came near the location of Satsang, he saw Kabir Ji sitting one and a quarter feet above the ground. Seeing this spectacle, the King understood that the supreme God had come. The King prostrated to God and requested Him to come home. First, God Kabir denied, but on the special request of the King, God Kabir agreed to go along with the King. With due respect, the King made God Kabir sit on a beautiful throne. The King offered the seat with all due respect, even to his guru Brahman, similar to that of God Kabir.
Veer Dev Singh asked his guru, Brahman ‘What are your differences with Kabir Ji? Ask that question now. I will decide after listening to the knowledge of both of you. The Brahman said that ‘Kabir Ji tells Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are mortal. This is absolutely wrong. There is no evidence in any scripture.
God Kabir Ji said, ‘read in Devi Purana, Skand 3, Rishi Ji’. The Brahman took out the Devi Purana at that time and started reading Skand 3.
God only knows His divine play. The same episode came in front of the Brahman. (Shri Devi Purana with bold letters, Hindi only, published from Gita Press Gorakhpur on page no.123).
It was written, Lord Vishnu said to his mother, Goddess Durga, O Mother! You are a pure figure. This whole world is arising from you only. I (Vishnu), Brahma and Shiva are destructible. We take birth (aviirbhaav) and die (tirobhaav)’.
Lord Shankar said, ‘O Mother! If Brahma and Vishnu have taken birth from you, then I, Shankar, who perform Tamoguni leela not your child? Means you have also given birth to me.
After seeing this evidence in Shri Devi Purana, the colour of the face of Brahman faded, but he thought in his mind, Let me refuse that it's not written like this.
God Kabir Ji said, ‘Brahman Ji! You are sitting in the court of the King. This decision will have to be taken today. Another Pandit will have to be called, and this will have to be clarified.
King Veer Singh said, "Brahman! Now, apart from the truth, I will not listen to anything else. If you lie, then the result will not be good. The Brahman said ‘King! The same has been written. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are destructible. They have a mother and father.
The queen Manakdei was also listening to this discussion. Then the King and the Queen took initiation from God Kabir Ji. The Brahman also took initiation from God. They gave up all rituals. God Kabir gave the first mantra to the King, Queen and Purohit.
Note: It is a request to the readers that a lot of rubbish has been added in Kabir Sagar by the ignorant Kabir Panthis who have written the discussion by Namdev Ji in place of Brahman. The true evidence is in the speech on page no.105.
When the King went for hunting, then 1.25 lakh infantry, a lot of elephants, horses, and Bhaat people moved along with, singing songs and playing a band. Ponder, 200 or 300 soldiers used to go along with the King for hunting.
God Kabir gives the first mantra to the king and queen, and then continues on His way, telling them that when their devotion to the first mantra is sufficient, He will give them Satnaam, which consists of two words.
God Kabir Ji came to provide Satnaam. At that time, King Veer Singh was ready to go hunting. He told ‘Guru Ji! You also come along with us. God Kabir Ji said, ‘If you will take me along, then you will not get any prey. The King did not agree and repeatedly requested God Kabir and took him on an elephant along with him. They camped in the Jungle. They went 40 miles away in the Jungle to hunt. It was summer and at 12 in the afternoon the King, the soldiers and the horse felt thirsty. They were about to die due to thirst. The King sent the soldiers here and there to search for water, but all efforts went in vain. The King and the soldiers were dazed because of hunger and thirst and said, ‘We will hardly survive now’.
Then God Kabir Ji said, "Rajan! There is a beautiful garden on the mountain in front. There is a lake of sweet water.
The King and the ministers said, ‘We had come earlier. At that time, we had installed a camp there. Nothing is there. An aged minister said, ‘Sadhu bole sehej subhav’, whatever the saint says does not go to waste. Let us go once and see.
The King sent two horse riders. They saw and called everyone ‘Come! Here are beautiful gardens, beautiful lakes. All of them went and saw that the trees and branches were full of fruit, and there was a lake of sweet and pure water. Everyone drank water and ate fruits, and also took some in a bundle and kept them on the horse to take home. It was the rebirth of the King and the army. Everyone prostrated to God Kabir and requested that He provide them with initiation.
Almighty Kabir said ‘Let us go to the city. I will give the initiation there. The King moved with the convoy, then said, ‘Hey Satguru! I had never seen water on these dry mountains, nor seen such a garden. What is the matter? The mind is unable to trust; it seems like a dream.
They went far, turned back and saw that neither was there a garden nor a lake of water. Uneven dry stones were lying. The King was astonished.
The King asked God Kabir, O God! Where has this garden and water come from? Where has it gone?’
God Kabir Ji said that ‘this garden and water had come from Satlok. That is our ultimate abode (Satyalok).
The fruits and dry fruits were kept on the horse. It cannot be called a dream as well. Seeing this spectacle, all ministers, soldiers took initiation. The King told the Queen. She was also astonished. All the soldiers and ministers told the queen and gave her fruits to eat and glorified God Kabir. Then the queen believed. God Kabir told the King that from today onwards, you will not hunt. The King pledged that he will not do violence to animals in future from today. God Kabir purified King Veer Singh and Queen Manakdei's name and provided Satnaam.
God Kabir said to the King and Queen ‘You will also receive Sarnaam. Then your welfare will happen. You will have to chant the first mantra and Satnaam more. Then you will get Sarnaam. Then you will attain salvation.
The king and the queen were given the first name/ mantra of the seven mantras. The supreme God Kabir gave initiation to the king and the queen in two stages. Then Kabir Sahib Ji explained the true spiritual knowledge that without the Saar Shabd, Satlok cannot be attained. After getting this inspiration, the king became dedicated to attaining Saarnaam. For attaining Saarnaam, he chanted the first and second mantras with a true heart.
One day, God Kabir Ji went to the palace of his disciple Veer Dev Singh Baghel. The king respected God Kabir Ji a lot. He requested to grant him Saarnaam. God Kabir Ji said that ‘your Guru sister Brahmani (named Chandraprabha) lives in your Kashi city. She sowed cotton in the courtyard of her house, watered it with Ganga water. After ripening, she took out the cotton and spun it. Then she wove a dhoti with her own hands. King, bring that dhoti, then you will get Saarnaam. Remember to get it politely and do not pressure her.
The king felt that life was incomplete without Saarnaam. So he set out to get the dhoti. The servants had already reached the widow Brahmani's house and informed her about the king's arrival. Chandraprabha had a daughter. Both were scared about what mistake they had committed. When the king reached, she welcomed him with a garland of flowers and offered milk, etc., as a gesture of respect for a guest. When the king asked for the dhoti, sister Chandraprabha denied and said, ‘O King! I have prepared this dhoti with devotion for Jagannath. I cannot give this dhoti to you. I will offer it at his feet.
The king said, ‘Sister! My life will remain incomplete without the Saarnaam. Without this dhoti (sari), Guru Ji will not give me Saarnaam. O sister Chandraprabha! I will give you five to seven villages. You give me the dhoti.
The Brahmini said, ‘You are the king, you can cut the neck of the mother and daughter, but forgive me for the dhoti, I will not give it. ’
The king said, ‘Okay, sister, it is your wish. ’
When the king returned with a sad mind, God Kabir Ji asked him to bring the dhoti. When the king told the whole story, Kabir Ji said ‘Well, I will make my condition easy for you. Let her go and offer that dhoti to Jagannath. You send two soldiers with Chandraprabha. If that sister returns safely after offering dhoti, then I will give you Saarnaam even without dhoti.
The king's happiness knew no bounds. The day the Brahmini left for Jagannath Ji, the king sent two soldiers as security guards. After taking a bath in the morning in the Jagannath temple, the Brahmini offered that dhoti in the temple and said, ‘O Jagannath! Please accept the humble gift of your maid.
At that time, those soldiers (chhadidaar = person with a stick) were also present in the temple. That dhoti flew from there and fell in the courtyard of the temple, and a voice from the sky said, ‘Oh, fool! I had asked for this dhoti from King Vir Singh in Kashi. You did not give the dhoti there. Why have you brought it here? Take it there. God is sitting in Kashi.
This celestial announcement and the dhoti falling in the courtyard were seen and heard by both soldiers. Picking up that dhoti, the Brahmin sister came to Kashi crying badly and cursing her ignorance.
First, she went to God Kabir Ji's hut. It was found that God Kabir Ji went to the royal court of King Veer Singh. Then everyone went to the king's palace. Sister Chandraprabha apologised for her mistake and said, ‘Parmeshwar! I did not know. You yourself have come to perform a divine act as Jagannath in Kashi.
God Kabir Ji asked, ‘Why have you brought the dhoti with you?’. Then she told in detail the incident that had happened in the temple of Jagannath. When the king asked the soldiers for evidence of this, both of them said that what the sister was saying was true. We saw it with our own eyes and heard it with our own ears. Then the king also fell at the feet of God and said, ‘O Lord! You are God. I used to consider you only a perfect man, a Guru. Today I have faith. Until now, I was not worthy of receiving Saarnaam.
Sister Chandraprabha and her daughter said the same thing. First, their names were purified, then after some time, God Kabir gave Saarnaam and did their welfare.
Summary:- This incident proves that God Kabir Ji used to complete the initiation process in three stages. One thing is also proved that till we do not accept Guru Ji as God, we cannot become entitled to salvation. This is the true story of Veer Dev Singh Baghel, the King of Kashi.
Sikander Lodi was the ruler of Delhi. The Sultan Sikander suffered from a burning sensation and was unable to find any relief despite all efforts; the disease did not get cured. No medical practitioner (Vaidh, Hakim) of that time achieved success in curing his chronic disease. The pain was unbearable. In such a situation, one day Sikandar Lodi came to know about the weaver Kabir Ji, that the great man lives in Kashi and has relieved the sufferings of many people. Only with God Kabir, Sikandar Lodi's disease can be cured. Knowing this, Sikandar Lodi immediately left for Kashi.
Kashi King Veer Dev Singh Baghel, a follower of God Kabir Ji, welcomed Sikandar Lodi. After knowing the reason for the visit of Sultan Sikander Lodi, King Veer Dev Singh Baghel said 'Maharaj, now you have come to the right place. God Kabir Ji has the solution to every problem. He can cure your disease immediately.
Sikandar Lodi was too arrogant; hence, he said that 'you should immediately present Kabir Ji before us.
Veer Dev Singh Baghel politely said that 'it is said one should personally go to meet the saint with all due respect. Saints and Fakirs should not be called by order. Even if he comes and does not shower grace, then there will be no benefit.
Sikandar Lodi understood and said that he himself would go to meet Kabir Sahib Ji. Veer Dev Singh Baghel said that ‘Kabir Sahib Ji comes to Swami Ramanand Ji's ashram every evening during Aarti'.
When King Veer Dev Singh Baghel and Sikandar Lodi reached Swami Ramanand Ji's ashram, they came to know that the Supreme Lord would come to the ashram after some time. Sikandar Lodi said, 'Till then, we will go inside and wait. '
Swami Ramanand Ji hated Muslims; therefore, he did not allow Sikander Lodi to enter the ashram, rather ill-spoken. Annoyed by the rude behaviour of Swami Ji, Sikandar Lodi beheaded Swami Ramanand Ji with his sword.
Later, he regretted that he had killed Kabir Ji's Guru Ji; now he will not receive the blessings of Kabir Sahib. Kabir Ji would rather get angry and punish him instead of showering mercy. He is so unfortunate.
After some time, when Kabir Parmeshwar Ji came to the ashram, King Veer Dev Singh Baghel bowed down to Kabir Parmeshwar along with his crown. Sikandar Lodi also prostrated the same way. The moment God Kabir put his hand on the head of Sikander Lodi, his chronic burning sensation illness was cured. Sikander Lodi felt relieved after a long time.
Then Sikandar Lodi asked for forgiveness from God Kabir for killing Ramanand Ji. Later, God Kabir revived Swami Ramanand Ji. This was all the spectacle of Almighty Kabir.
Kabir Ji, who was in Kashi, saved Ram Sahay Pandey's feet from being burnt by hot Prasad at the Jagannath temple in Puri. This evidence is found in the book Mukti Bodh in ‘Parakh Ke Ang’ Speech no. 710-725 on page no. 313-314

One evening, God Kabir Ji, along with Sant Ravidas Ji, went to the court of King Veer Dev Singh Baghel. Sikander Lodi, the King of Delhi, had also come there that day. With due respect, Veer Dev Singh Baghel offered a seat to both great saints. Both Kings had a discussion for some time with God Kabir.
All of a sudden, God Kabir stood up very fast and started pouring water from His ‘Kamandal’ on His legs. Sikandar Lodi asked ‘God! What did you do? You poured water on your leg. Please tell the reason.
Kabir Ji said that ‘there is one Ram Sahay Pandey named a priest, there in Jagannath Puri. He was preparing ‘Khichdi Prasad’ for God. When he was unloading it then the very hot ‘Khichdi’ fell on his leg. He screamed and became unconscious. I have poured this ice-like water on his burnt legs and have saved his life; he would have died.
The temple of Jagannath Ji is in Puri in the state of Orissa, which is almost 1000 kilometres away from Varanasi. King Veer Dev Singh Baghel and King Sikander Lodi could not digest this matter. They were ordered to investigate the truth without informing Kabir Ji. Two soldiers went to Puri riding on Camels. It took 10 days to reach.
In Puri, they inquired ‘Who is Ram Sahay Pandey? He was called. The soldiers asked ‘Was your leg burnt with Khichdi?’
Ram Sahay Pandey said ‘Yes’.
The soldiers asked ‘Who cured you?’
Ram Sahay Pandey said, ‘Kabir Ji was standing nearby. He poured ice-like water from His Kamandal. My burning stopped with it. If he hadn't poured water, I would have died. I had fainted.
The soldiers questioned ‘What was the time?’
Ram Sahay Pandey said ‘It was evening. Around one hour before sunset.
The others present there confirmed the same. The soldiers said ‘All of you give this in writing and sign/ put your thumb on the paper. Ram Sahay Pandey and other priests said that Kabir Ji comes to the temple every day.
Both soldiers returned to Kashi carrying all the evidence and told the whole truth. King Veer Dev Singh Baghel and King Sikandar Lodi went to the hut of Kabir Ji. Both prostrated to God Kabir and apologised for their distrustful crime. They said, ‘God, you were telling the truth. You had only saved the legs from burning of Ram Sahay Pandey, who is from Jagannath temple. We had sent two soldiers to Puri to find out the truth for our satisfaction. You are the same Khuda who is sitting on the seventh Sky. You have come to the earth, acquiring the form of a man to perform a spectacle.
God Kabir Ji said, ‘Maharaj! You are mistaken even here. I am Allahu Akbar. I am seated on a throne in Satyalok, which is far beyond crore Skies. Here, I am standing in front of you. I had also met Prophet Muhammad. He also made a mistake in identifying me.
Note: It has been written in ‘Braham Bedi Ang’
"Panda paanv bujhaya Satguru, Jagannath ki baat hai".
600 years ago, when God Kabir had incarnated in Kashi city, at that time, a severe drought fell in Maghar city.
Bijli Khan Pathan was the Nawab of Maghar city. After seeing the people suffering from drought, he contacted the King of Kashi, Veer Dev Singh Baghel, as he had heard the glory of Kabir Sahib that he could do wonders. A lot of people have benefited from Kabir Sahib's mercy. He possesses divine powers
King Bijli Khan Pathan sent a messenger to Veer Dev Singh Baghel, requesting him to make arrangements to send Kabir Sahib to Maghar immediately.
Veer Dev Singh Baghel sent a reply to Bijli Khan Pathan that ‘Kabir Sahib is not an ordinary man, he is a Divine. If you and your city seek help from Kabir Ji, then you should come yourself and request him politely. Saints are not called by order.
Bijli Khan Pathan understood that Saint Kabir Ji was endowed with great powers, so he himself reached Kashi along with some soldiers and requested Kabir Sahib Ji to help the people of Maghar in this drought crisis.
Merciful God Kabir Ji cannot see the sufferings of his children. Many tortures are inflicted on the living beings in 21 universes by butcher Brahm Kaal, but benevolent Kabir Sahib is always present to remove the suffering of his children.
Kabir Parmeshwar Ji accepted the request of Bijli Khan Pathan and came to Maghar. On one hand, where a great man like Tantrik Gorakhnath failed to provide relief there, God Kabir Ji did a miracle, and with the blessing of Supreme God Kabir Ji, there was heavy rainfall in Maghar. All the dried-out water reservoirs were filled up to the brim, due to which the residents of Maghar breathed a sigh of relief and after recognising Allah Kabir Ji, Nawab Bijli Khan Pathan, and several people took refuge in Allahu Akbar Kabir.
For ages, the fake religious gurus, Brahmans, Acharya, Mandaleshwars, and sages have tangled spiritual knowledge due to a lack of absolute knowledge. God Kabir untangles it and eliminates superstition by preaching His Tatvagyan.
600 years ago, the Brahmins of Kashi spread the rumour that whoever dies in Kashi (Varanasi) will yield Heaven, whereas whoever dies in Maghar will yield Hell and subsequently suffer in the species of a donkey. Those greedy, cunning and hypocritical Brahmins, by installing Karaunth (ripper) near the Ganga river in Kashi, did so much cruelty to fulfil the desire of the people who wanted to attain salvation that they chopped them with a ripper, saying that in this way, people will be emancipated. Those so-called hypocritical Pandits, Brahmans, took upon themselves the sin of killing innocent people and fooled them.
God Kabir used to preach that a true worshipper of God Kabir who performs scriptural devotion as guided by an enlightened saint may die anywhere he or she attains the immortal world Satlok, where the supreme God Himself resides along with the liberated souls. The place does not matter. Moreover, Heaven is a temporary dwelling place, and creatures who go there remain in recurrence. They do not attain salvation.
In His final moments, God Kabir declared that the news spread by fake gurus about Maghar is a mere deception. It is a myth. He will ascend from Maghar in body to His indestructible Sanatan ultimate abode, Satlok.
It was the Ekadashi of Shukl Paksha in the Magh month of the Hindu calendar in 1575 Vikrami Samvat (1518 A.D) when God Kabir performed this divine spectacle in the presence of many disciples. The King of Kashi Veer Dev Singh Baghel and the Nawab of Maghar Bijli Khan Pathan were present there along with their army, for both wanted to claim the dead body of God Kabir to perform the last rites according to their religious rituals. Those hypocritical Pandas, Brahmans were also present.
God Kabir told both of them not to fight as He had always preached about brotherhood, unity between Hindus and Muslims and peace. He told them to bring two white coloured sheets. One to spread on the ground for Him to lie upon, and another with which to cover Himself. The same was done.
Just a few moments after God lay down on the sheet and covered Himself, He made a celestial announcement that remove the sheet. There is no body. Look, everyone, I am going to Satlok, which is very far beyond Heaven.
When the people removed the sheet, they found only fragrant flowers instead of a body equal in size of the body were lying. Everyone cried badly, saying, ‘We are so despicable. We did not recognise Allah/ God. Veer Dev Singh Baghel, Bijli Khan Pathan, and all others present there witnessed this Maghar spectacle of the departure of God Kabir. Later, both the Kings distributed those fragrant flowers and built two separate monuments. Thereafter, there had never been a war between Hindus and Muslims in Maghar. The followers of both religions live in peace and brotherhood and firmly believe that God/ Allah is the one and only Kabir. Due to ignorance, we have made religious boundaries.
God Kabir, who did several miracles 600 years ago, whose witness was King Veer Dev Singh Baghel, is present today in the holy land of Haryana state, India and doing several miracles for His beloved souls. He is none other than Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. All virtuous souls who have identified God Kabir and have taken initiation from him are receiving benefits day and night.
It is advice to all God-loving souls that identify God Kabir, who is playing the role of an enlightened saint. Take refuge in God in his (Sant Rampal Ji) cover, for He is the saviour of the world. All those who will take His shelter will become eligible to attain emancipation and will reach Satlok by the power of devotion and the grace of Almighty Kabir.
