The relationships in Kaal's realm are all false and mean. God Kabir's intense love for His beloved souls is beyond selfishness, which is not the case in any other relationship. Who Was Trilochan?
God became a servant for His beloved soul, Trilochan
Trilochan was a steadfast devotee of the Supreme God Kabir Ji from Barsi, district Solapur, Maharashtra. His poetry encapsulated in Shri Guru Granth Sahib, the revered holy book of Sikhism, highlights that he had condemned superficial rituals and being a hypocrite in the path of devotion. He emphasised the purity of heart rather than pretending to be a renunciate. He used to worship only one God. God gives weightage to those souls who have a servile spirit and remain firm and faithful to Him. Then God comes close.
God-loving, virtuous soul Trilochan was so dear to Satpurush that God Himself performed the spectacle of a servant for His dearest son Trilochan.
So what is the whole story? Let's dive deep to get an answer.
God Kabir, as per His divine law, came in the realm of Kaal and met the soul of Bhagat Trilochan in his previous human births and charged him with His true devotion. God preached him true spiritual knowledge and granted him a true salvation mantra. The soul had intense passion for attaining God for ages and was still engaged in devotion to Satpurush in Kaliyuga. Bhagat Trilochan was aged 80 by now and had hired a servant who used to serve him wholeheartedly.
One day, the servant told Bhagat Trilochan that he had to go to his hometown. He has received a letter. There is an issue at his home, and his presence is needed.
Bhagat Trilochan permitted him and the servant went away. Trilochan was not well as he got diarrhoea. At the age of around 80, this illness broke out like a havoc. He became very weak. He could not even stand or walk. He could not even drink water.
After a few minutes, when the servant might have gone approximately 20-30 kilometres far, God Kabir came to devotee Trilochan’s home acquiring the form of the servant.
Bhagat Trilochan, considering him his servant, asked the reason for his return. God Kabir (disguised as the servant) said that he would go some other time now. You are sick, therefore, I have changed my plan. I will go after your recovery. Then merciful God Kabir took good care of his suffering soul, Trilochan. God used to clean the whole excreta of the old and sick devotee. He used to give him a bath, used to wash his clothes, used to cook food for him and with lots of love used to give him food. The supreme father, the supreme God, as servant, served Trilochan for one month.
The servant returned after one month. God Kabir disappeared just a few minutes before the arrival of the servant. The servant saluted Trilochan and started giving some goods and stuff that he had brought from his home town like fruits, vegetables, Matira, choorma (sweet dish) etc.
Bhagat Trilochan was looking at the face of his servant in surprise and asked ‘What are you saying? Where have you gone? From where have you brought all these goods? I am unable to understand anything. You were with me the entire month. You had taken good care of me while I was suffering from diarrhoea. You used to clean my excreta, used to give me a bath, used to cook food for me every day.’
The servant said ‘Last month, I went to my hometown. I told you, and you permitted me. Actually, I was supposed to return within 20 days, but got late due to some reason and have returned after one month now. Kindly forgive me. I have brought these goods for you. My family members and people around have given salutations to you. Now I am back.
Bhagat Trilochan was astonished and, with tears in his eyes, said, ‘Who was he? Who cleaned my droppings and cuddled me the whole month? Soon Trilochan understood ‘Oh! It was God in the form of my servant, and I could not recognise Him, O merciful God, you did so much for your child, even cleaned my droppings. Bhagat Trilocgan cried badly.
