ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਧੁਰ ਸਚਖੰਡ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਜਾਇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਜਹਾਂ ਬਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਕੇ ਉਪਰ ਸਤ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਜੋਤੀ ਸਰੂਪ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੈਂ, ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਭਗਤ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਹਾਥ ਜੋੜ ਕਰ ਖੜੇ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਓਹ ਜੋ ਕੋਟਾਨ ਸੂਰਜ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕੋਟਾਨ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾਂ ਜੈਸਾ ਸੀਤਲ ਇਸ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਸਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਿਆ ਉਸ ਜੋਤ ਰੂਪ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੀ ਔਰ ਆਗੇ ਸਤ ਸਰੂਪ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂੰ (here Vishnu means controller of all, nurturer of all) ਜੀ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਹੈਂ, ਸਰਬ ਸਮਰਥ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਵਾਨ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਹਿਆ ਆਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤ ਤੂ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੇਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਔਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਭੇਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕੇ ਜਪਾਓਨ ਕੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗਏ ਸੇ ਸੋ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਯਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਆ ਹੇ ਸਰਬੰਗ ਸਵਾਮੀ ! ਜਹਾਂ ਆਪ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਭਈ ਤਹਾਂ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਫੇਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਹਾਂ ਜਹਾਂ ਆਪਕਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੋਏਗਾ ਤਹਾਂ ਤਹਾਂ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਫੇਰੇਂਗੈ, ਆਗੇ ਜਿਓਂ ਆਪਕੀ ਰਜਾਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਤਿਓਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਐਸਾ ਕਹਿ ਕਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਮੇਂ -
Transliteration: ta Guru Nanak Ji dhur sachkhand darbar mein jaii pahounche jahan bada prakash hai prakash roop takht ke upar sat nirankaar jyoti saroop baithe hain, sampurn bhagat avtaar haath jod kar khade hain atey Baba Nanak ji te oh jo kotaan suraj ke samaan prakash hai kotaan chandrma jaisa sital es ka prakash hai us sache prakash vikhe parvesh kiya us jyot roop bhagwaan ki ustat kari aur aage sat saroop nirankaar vishnu ji birajmaan hain, sarab samrath sarab shaktivaan bhagwant ji ne keha aao nanak bhagat tu sadaa ji mere mein milia hain, tere aur mere mein koi bhed nahin par jis vaste sansaar mein satnaam updesh ke japaon ke vaste gaye se so dridhaya hai ta Shri Guru Nanak ji keha he Sarbang Swami! jahan aap di agya bhai tahan satnaam di chakr feriya hai, jahan jahan aapka hukum hoyea tahan tahan satnaam ka chakr ferenge, aage jeon aapki rajai hovegi teon ji hovega, aisa keh kar shri guru ji ne shabad ucharan kita ustati mein -
Shri Nanak Dev ji followed the principles of Kabir Saheb as his golden rule which aimed at attaining salvation at first and keeping humanity as his religion.
Satnam is not just a word/mantra, it is the name of the mantra which is valueable on the path of salvation. By saying Satnam, Shri Nanak Dev ji indicated towards Satnam whose real mantra is something else. Satnam was originated from Kabir Saheb who disclosed it to Shri Nanak Dev ji.
Waheguru Satnam are both different words and have different meanings. Waheguru was the word used by Shri Nanak Dev ji when he saw the same Kabir Saheb as he witnessed in Satlok when he visited Satlok by grace of lord Kabir. While Satnam is the name of the mantra which is required to be chanted to attain salvation. We can recieve Satnam from only a Tatvdarshi Sant who is none other than Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

Can one attain God by reciting 'Waheguru Satnam'?

'Waheguru Satnam' is no mantra to be chanted. The whole Sikh community is misled. In reality it is the indication by Guru Nanak Dev Ji towards the true salvation mantra provided to him by God Chanting which he attained God. Upon receiving Satnam mantra (indicative) out of happiness the spontaneous reaction of Nanak Dev Ji was 'Waheguru Satnam' means he expressed happiness to have obtained real mantra with which he will be liberated from the web of butcher Brahm Kaal and will be able to go to the eternal native world Satlok.
