According to Hindu mythology, Kuber/ Kuvera is the God of wealth. He is also attributed with titles such as Lokpal/ Dikpal/ Dhaneshwar/ Yaksheshwar/ Rakshasadhipati/ Lord of thieves and criminals. Consider him mainly to be the finance minister in Kaal’s realm. As Varun Dev is the God of water, Vayu Dev is the God of Air, Surya Dev is incharge of the source of lights, Dharamraj is the God of Justice and so on. There are 33 Koti demi-gods in 21 Brahmands, each holding some position. Since the actions of creatures in this mortal realm are determined by their karma, people receive rewards for their virtues and suffering for their sinful deeds. This is the law of Brahm Kaal. The power of Kuber is minimal as he can only provide work done.
On the other hand, the supreme God Kabir, the creator of the entire universe, possesses infinite powers and can reward wealth to His devotees as much as He wishes. God Kabir is free from all forms of karmic bondage. Param Akshar Brahm/ Satpurush Kabir Saheb is the supreme being who is actually the provider of wealth, prosperity and all kinds of happiness needed by a creature. He is truly the owner of the treasures of entire universes, is the protector of the world and above all, provides emancipation to His true worshippers (evidence Rigveda Mandal 10 Sukt 90 Mantra 16), which is actually the wealth of the soul as it leads to the attainment of God and freedom from the dangerous web of Satan Kaal.
In this article, we will focus on explaining that the real God of wealth is only Almighty God Kabir, whom the Hindu triumvirate Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Indra Dev, Kuber, Varun Dev, etc., and all 33 koti Gods worship.
Worship of Kuber is an outcome of sheer ignorance of devotees; hence, a useless practice not supported in any holy scripture. The comparative analysis between the supreme God Kabir and the demon King converted demigod Kuber will make devotees believe
Let us proceed to know the truth based on the following points.
Note: The reference has been taken from the Vedas, the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, and the spiritual discourses of Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
The Bhagavad Gita is a revered holy scripture among the followers of Hinduism. It is the gist of pious four Vedas. Satan Brahm Kaal is the knowledge giver of Gita. As certified in Gita Chapter 11 Verse 32 he entered in the body of Shri Krishna in Kurukshetra battlefield during the Mahabharata war In Dwaparyuga and preached Gita to warrior Arjuna.
Brahm Kaal tells in Gita Chapter 15 Verse 16 that in this world there are two types of Gods. One is perishable and the other is imperishable. Similarly, the bodies of all beings in two realms of both Kshar Purush (he himself) and Akshar Purush are destructible whereas the soul is indestructible.
In Gita Chapter 15 Verse 17 he says the supreme God (Purna Brahm) is, however, other than these two (ksharH & aksharH) aforesaid mortal Gods. The evidence for the same is also found in Rigveda Mandal 10 Sukt 90 Mantra 3.
That immortal supreme God/ Primeval Purush (UttamH purushH) by entering in all three realms, nurtures everyone.
In Gita Chapter 15 Verses 1-4, which describes the creation of the three realms by giving the example of a tree of the world hanging upside down it explains that the root above (Purna Brahm Parmatma – Param Akshar Purush) is SatPurush (Kavir Dev). The roots nourish all parts of the tree like the trunk is Akshar Purush/ ParBrahm and small branch protruding from it is Kshar Purush/ Kaal Brahm/ Jyoti Niranjan. This means God Kabir, the creator of the whole nature, nourishes all the beings of entire universes.
In Gita Chapter 8 Verse 3 and Chapter 18 Verse 62 Kaal guides Arjuna about Param Akshar Brahm and says ‘go in refuge of that immortal supreme God by all means, since by His (Purna Brahm’s) grace only, he will attain supreme peace and Sanatan ultimate abode which is Satlok/ Sachkhand where God Himself resides (evidence Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 86 Mantra 26-27 and Rigveda Mandal 10 Sukt 90 Mantra 4). This Purna Brahm is the provider of wealth, prosperity, and happiness.
In Gita Chapter 18, Verse 64, the Gita narrator reveals the secret that this Purna Brahm is his venerable God. I, Kaal, also seek refuge in this eternal Purna Parmatma. One should do devotion to only this Purna Parmatma with full determination and not to others
The same Kaal, who is also the knowledge giver of Vedas, tells the name of the supreme God, Purna Brahm/ Satpurush in Atharva Ved, Kaand no. 4, Anuvaak no.1 Mantra no. 7. He is Kavir Dev, Lord of infinite Brahmands.
Quran Sharif Surat Furqani 25:52 till 59, Holy Fazal-E-Amal/ Fazal-E-Zikr in Aayat no. 1 and Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB), Iyov 36:5 and SGGS also certify the name of the great God, Allahu Akbar is Kabira, Khabiran, Hakka Kabir according to their specific spoken language.
Almighty Kabir introduces Himself in the following nectar speeches.
Kabir, Ved mera bhed hai, mein na Vedan ke mahee |
Jaun Ved se mein milu, wo Ved jante nahee ||
Garib, hum hi Alakh Allah hai qutub gose aur peer| Garib Das Khalik dhani humra naam Kabir||
All aforementioned evidence certifies Kabir is God. Kubera is nowhere mentioned to be a God in any holy scripture. However, he is only incharge of the wealth department in Kaal’s realm and can provide wealth to deserving individuals based on their virtues. The maze of devil Kaal needs to be understood by naive devotees.
The realm of butcher Kaal is destructible. So are all beings residing here. This confirms Kuber/ Kuvera/ Kuberan is in the cycle of birth and death. The information gathered from ancient scriptures tells about the family of Kubera.
According to legends, Kubera, described as the Lord of thieves and criminals, was the grandson of Prajapati Pulastya. Sage Vishrava was his father, and Devavarnini/ Ilavida/ Ailavila was his mother. Bhadra was his wife. Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Vibhishan were his half-brothers, and Shupanakha was his half-sister. Kubera belonged to the Asura clan.
Important: The one who is born and dies like Kubera cannot be God. Some virtuous soul who did true devotion of the immortal God Kabir in some human birth attains a position of a deity. Kubera is one such pious soul. After completing his tenure, he will suffer in 84 lakh (Chaurasi) life-forms, and the next eligible soul will hold the responsibility of the finance minister/ God of wealth in Kaal's realm. The same law applies to all creatures trapped in the web of Kaal.
Contrary to demi God Kubera, God Kabir is eternal. He is self-proclaimed. It has been mentioned in the pious Yajurveda Chapter 40, Verse 8
‘Kabir manisH swayambh paribhu vyodhatH’ .
Meaning: God Kabir is Omnipresent and is self-proclaimed. Neither does He take birth nor does He die. He does not even grow old. Evidence from the creation of the universe mentioned in the Suksham Veda Kabir Sagar and Amargranth Sahib of respected Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj also certifies the same. God Kabir has existed since time immemorial.
Rigveda Mandal 10 Sukt 4 Mantra 3 and Mandal 9 Sukt 93 Mantra 2 state, Almighty God never takes birth from a mother's womb.
It has been written in Suksham Veda, Amargranth Sahib, Chapter Ath Raag Bilawal, Shabad 21:
Avigat Ram Kabir hai, chakve avinashi।
Brahma Vishnu wazir hai, Shiva karat khawasi।।
Moving ahead, let us analyse what evidence holy scriptures provide regarding the appearance of Almighty Kabir and what folklore tells about the demon King converted demi God Kuber.
Vedas provide an eloquent description of the appearance of the creator, God Kabir, who is gorgeous.
Eternal God Kabir in Rigveda Mandal 1 Sukt 1 Mantra 1-10 is referred to as ‘Agni’. His body is highly effulgent. The radiance of one hair follicle of His body is more than the combined light of crore Suns and crore Moons. When He descends in the realm of Kaal (Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 96 Mantra 17-18), intending to impart His Tatvagyan (Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 82 Mantra 2 and Yajurveda Chapter 29 Verse 25), He wears the body of lighter masses of lights over His actual effulgent body. (Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 86 Mantra 1)
Respected Guru Nanak Dev Ji to whom God Kabir met in Jinda Baba form on the Bein river almost 600 years ago and preached him His true spiritual knowledge and by granting true salvation mantras (Satnaam & Sarnaam) emancipated him describes the gorgeous appearance of Satpurush Kabir Sahib in his nectar speech in Malaar Mehla 1, ਮਲਾਰ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ॥ on Page 1257 in Shri Guru Granth Sahib.
God Kabir wears white clothes. His nose is sharp, his eyes are black and beautiful, his teeth are delightful, and his voice is very sweet. He coos like a songbird. His long hair is golden. His walk is so elegant, like a Sarang bird. His youthful beauty is very alluring. He can move in all directions across the universe, over land, water, mountains, Heaven and beyond it in inter spaces. His body is highly effulgent. The great Lord/ master is unfathomable and infinite.
God Kabir Dev is seated in a dome on the high hillock-like throne like an Emperor/ ‘Rajaiv’ from where He is controlling all the universes - Rigveda, Mandal 9, Sukt 96, Mantra 18 and Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 82 Mantra 1.
It has been mentioned in Sukshma Veda.
Arsh kursh par safed gumut hai, jahan Parmeshwar ka dera |
Shwet chatr sir mukt virajey, dekhat na uss chehre nuu ||
God (Bhuvnopari) is seated (Tishthatee) on the topmost abode (Ritdhama), which is self-illuminating. Satpurush Kabir Sahib is controlling and providing benefits to everyone while sitting there - Rigveda Mandal 9 Sukt 54 Mantra 3.
Kubera, as spelt in Sanskrit, means ‘deformed or monstrous or ill-shaped’. In pictures and idols, he is portrayed as having a funny appearance. His plump body is adorned with heavy jewellery. He is often depicted as a dwarf with a potbelly. His body is shown to be deformed, has three legs, broken teeth, three heads and one eye. His face is inclined to the left, he has a beard and moustache and two tusks protruding from his mouth. He carries a money-bag, a mace. He is shown riding on Varaha (native pig), Nakula (mongoose).
Kubera was the ruler of Lanka at some time, but Ravana, his half-brother, overthrew him and himself became the ruler. Kubera later settled himself in Alkapuri/the city of Alaka, in the Himalayas near Kailasa, Lord Shiva's abode. Kubera's abode is destructible.
Brahm Kaal tells in Gita Chapter 17 Verse 23 the mantra of Param Akshar Brahm/ Satpurush Kavir Dev, which is ‘Om Tat Sat’ (coded). The enlightened saint decodes these salvation mantras, chanting which seekers attain emancipation. The identity of the Tatvadarshi saint has been told in Gita Chapter 15, Verse 1-4.
In Chapter 8, Verse 8, Kaal says, ‘seeker who is engrossed in the true devotion of the supreme God with undivided attention, who does Jaap of mantra repeatedly, who constantly thinks of God, attains the supreme God only.
Devotees often chant the mantra to please Kubera, intending to receive wealth like
None of the aforementioned mantras holds any evidence in any certified holy scripture, hence useless. Seekers who get wealth are the reward of their virtues earned in previous human births and not because they worshipped Goddess Laxmi or God Kuber.
Ponder: The followers of the Hindu religion, Buddhists and Jains usually worship Kuber. The followers of other religions do not worship Kuber yet are wealthy and lead a prosperous life. The question is -
The answer is clear. God Kabir is the real provider of wealth, irrespective of any discrimination of caste or religion. His divine presence symbolises an abundance of wealth. All souls trapped in Kaal's realm are children of the supreme God. In God's eyes, all His children are equal.
Important: God Kabir emphasises the enhancement of spiritual wealth in comparison to materialistic wealth like Kubera, as with the power of devotional wealth, Salvation is attained, and souls get freedom from the fake materialistic world of Shaitan Kaal.
Goddess Laxmi and Lord Kuber are usually worshipped together, especially on the Diwali festival, by Hindus as both are considered to be providers of wealth and prosperity. This is a myth. Even poor people worship both, but they hardly get money. It's obvious their worship is done due to ignorance.
An often asked question is
The most revered Suksham Veda provides evidence that all demigods of the 21 universes of devil Kaal, including Kubera, worship the supreme God Kabir. He is the provider of wealth, prosperity and above all, salvation.
Sur nar munijan Dhyave Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesha।
Shesh Sahans mukh gavey poojai Aadi Ganesha ||
Meaning: ‘O Param Akshar Purush! All the gods, including Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva, as well as all people of the world, great sages, worship you. Sheshnag praises your glories with his thousand mouths. O Aadi Ganesha! That is, the eternal Supreme Being! Everyone worships you.
Indra Kubera sarikha, Varun Dharamrai Dhyave। Sumrath jeevan jika, mun ichha phal pavein।।
Meaning: ‘O complete God! Even the gods, such as Devraj Indra, Kubera (the god of wealth), Varuna (the god of water), and Dharmaraja (the god of justice who keeps a record of the deeds of all living beings) worship you. All those who worship you, their life becomes blessed and their heart's desires get fulfilled.
Tentees koti adhara, Dhyave sahans atthasi । Utrey bhav jal para, kut hai Yam ki phansi||
Meaning: ‘O Param Akshar Brahm! (O Satpurush!) You are the basis for the thirty-three crore gods, meaning that even the thirty-three crore gods worship you. They recognise your power. Even though their worship may not be perfect, they still consider you as the basis of their devotion. Eighty-eight thousand sages also perform your devotion. Those who do your genuine devotion according to the way prescribed in scriptures are freed from the ocean of worldly existence, that is, they attain complete liberation. The bonds of their sinful actions are severed by remembering your true mantra (Satnaam and Sarnaam). They go to your (Satpurush's) true abode.
It has been mentioned in Suksham Veda
Inder Kuber ish ki padvi Brahma Varun Dharamraya| Vishnu Nath ke pur ku jake tu phir bhi ulta aaya||
Each soul suffers in 84 lakh life-forms of animals, reptiles, birds, ghosts, gods etc. God Kabir says even after becoming Lord Inder, the King of Heaven, Kuber, the finance minister, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva etc. the soul remains in recurrence and comes back to the mortal world of Kaal. He does not get liberation from birth-rebirth. Salvation is attained only by true devotion of Almighty Kabir.
God Kabir, to whom Kubera and all 33 koti Gods, Hindu triumvirate of 21 universes worship, has descended in Brahm Kaal's realm from His eternal abode Satlok at present. He is playing a divine spectacle in the cover of Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. He is the provider of wealth and emancipation. All those who have taken His refuge are getting amazing benefits day and night. The true devotion provided by God Kabir is enhancing both the materialistic wealth as well as spiritual wealth of His disciples. Devotees should no longer remain in the misconception that Kuber can provide them wealth. Take refuge of great Chyren, enlightened saint Rampal Ji Maharaj and become eligible for the attainment of salvation.
