Full Explanation About Goddess Mahalaxmi and Devi Laxmi

full-explanation-about-goddess-laxmi

Goddess Lakshmi believed to be the provider of fortune, luxury, auspiciousness, wealth and prosperity is a Hindu Goddess. Her worshippers believe that She holds the promise of material fulfillment and contentment. Since she is a revered deity of Hindu devotees the first thing that comes to mind is - whom do the people of other religions worship to get wealth and prosperity? Shall we consider that people of other religion other than Hindus who do not worship Goddess Laxmi  are not rich and do not lead a prosperous and happy life?

This raises doubt amongst the devotee society that If Goddess Lakshmi provides prosperity and luxury to her Hindu worshippers then who provides a prosperous life to non-Hindus, non worshippers of Goddess Laxmi? Here lies the crux. The whole world is just running behind the materialistic pleasures and in accumulating wealth but not all of them worship Goddess Laxmi then how are they leading a luxurious and happy life? From where are they getting wealth and prosperity? Our ancient holy books guide us on this as they are the eye opener.

Pious Srimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 15 Verse 17 says the Supreme God is some other who by entering in three worlds nurtures and sustains everyone. This means there is some other supreme power other than Goddess Lakshmi who is the ocean of happiness and provider of prosperity and wealth. He fulfills the desires of all beings. This signifies He provides prosperity to everyone irrespective of any worshiper belonging to any religion. But who is He?

Also shreds of evidence from holy texts reveal the truth that Goddess Laxmi is mistakenly also called Mahalaxmi by devotees whereas both are two separate deities and not the same. This clarifies that Goddess Laxmi is not the provider of wealth but there is some other supreme power who is Omnipotent, Omniscient who treats everyone on the same scale.

Through this article we will do the profound analysis about

  • Who is Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi?
  • Who is that Supreme power above these two Goddesses who provides prosperity to everyone?

To derive to a conclusion first we need to know the difference between the aforementioned two Goddesses. For this we first need to have thorough knowledge of the creation of the universe as described in Sachidanand Ghan Brahm speech.

Origin of Goddess Mahalakshmi

Reference:- Pious Kabir Sagar, Suksham Veda

Almighty KavirDev/ Param Akshar Purush is the creator of entire universes. With His word power He created the immortal worlds Anamilok, Agamlok, Alakhlok and Satlok. The Sky, earth, water, mountains, trees, souls, etc all are His creation. Brahm Kaal the owner of 21 universes where we all souls reside was also created by Satpurush Kabir Sahib in Satlok along with his wife Prakriti/ Ashtangi/ Durga who were expelled due to their misconduct along with (we) souls and now both rule the 21 universes. This is in a nutshell about universe creation. To understand who Goddess Mahalaxmi is? We need to know the creation of these 21 universes done by Kaal Brahm and Goddess Durga after being expelled from the immortal abode.

In one Brahmand, Brahm Kaal has created one Brahmlok. In that, he has built three secret places. One is Rajogun-dominated place where this Brahm (Kaal) himself lives in MahaBrahma form and keeps his wife Durga in Maha Savitri form. The son, who is born from their union (evidence Shrimad Devi Bhagavata Purana, 3rd Skand page no 11-12, Adhyay 5, Shlok 12) in this place, automatically becomes Rajoguni. The second place was built which was dominated by Satogun. There this Kshar Purush himself lives in MahaVishnu form and keeping his wife Durga in MahaLakshmi form gives birth to a son whom he names Vishnu. This child is endowed with Satogun. This Kaal has also built a third Tamogun-dominated place.

There he himself lives in SadaShiv/ Maha Shiva form and keeps his wife Durga in Maha Parvati form. They name the son, who is born from their husband-wife behavior, as Shiva/ Shankar/ Mahesh and endow him with Tamogun. Brahm keeps these three  sons in ignorance (coma), and when they grow, for his food he gets living beings produced by Lord Brahma preservation is done by Shri Vishnu (by developing love and affection in everyone to keep them in Kaal’s trap) and the role of destruction is allotted to Lord Shiva because Kaal/ Jyoti Niranjan has to take out the grime from the immaterial/ astral bodies (Sukshma body) of one-lakh human beings everyday to fulfill his appetite, because of the effect of the curse on him entrusted by Almighty KavirDev for the misconduct he did in Satlok. His food is prepared on a piece of burning rock (Tapatshila) which automatically remains very hot and is in his twenty-first Brahmand. He melts the grime on it and then eats it. Souls do not die but the pain is unbearable.

Gist of Description:-

With afore-mentioned description of the creation it becomes clear that Goddess Durga was originated in Satlok by the word power of God KavirDev and here in 21 universe she  herself resides in these three secret places created by both as Mahasavitri, Mahalaxmi and Mahaparvati form along with her consort (evidence Gita Chapter 14 Verse 3 to 5 and Shrimad Devi Bhagavata Purana, 3rd Skand, page no. 114-118) Brahm Kaal in the form of  Maha Brahma, Maha Vishnu and Maha Shiva respectively.

This was in a nutshell about the origin of Goddess Mahalaxmi and her consort Satan Kaal/ Jyoti Niranjan.

Moving ahead we will do profound study of the origin of Goddess Laxmi and her consort Lord Vishnu. First, let us know about the children of Mahalakshmi/ Durga.

Does Goddess Mahalaxmi Have Children

Trinity Gods Rajogun Brahma, Satogun Vishnu, Tamogun Shiv/ Shankar/ Mahesh are the three sons of Goddess Mahalaxmi/ Goddess Durga and Brahm Kaal. The evidence of same has been mentioned in the following sacred scriptures

1. Suksham Veda, pious Kabir Sagar, printer and publisher is Khemraj Shri Krishandas Adhyaksh, Shri Venkateshwar press, Khemraj Shri Krishandas road, Mumbai. First Khand, translated by Kabir Panthi Bharat Pathik Swami Yuglanand Bihari. Gyan Bodh, Bodhsagar Chapter on page no.21

2. Srimad Devi Bhagavata Mahapurana, with pictures in bold in Hindi, part 1, along with Sanskrit ‘Ath Shri Devi Bhagwat’ Khemraj Shri Krishandas publication, Mumbai on Page no 11, Skand 3, Adhyay 5, Shlok 8.

3. Markandeya Purana, with pictures in bold in Hindi, published from Gita Press Gorakhpur on page 123

4. Pious Shrimad Bhagawad Gita Chapter 14 Verse 5

5. Shri ShivPurana, with pictures in bold in Hindi, published from Gita Press Gorakhpur, editor Hanuman Prasad Poddar, Rudra Samhita, page no. 98 onwards, concise Shiva Purana, Chapter 5

6. In Sacred speech of respected Sant Garibdas Ji Maharaj

Having understood that Lord Vishnu is the son of Mahalakshmi let us know how Goddess Laxmi originated. To understand this we need to know what happened during churning of the ocean?

What was the Role of Goddess Mahalaxmi in Churning of the Ocean?

When the three children Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva became young, then mother Bhavani (Durga/ Prakriti/ Ashtangi) said, “You may churn the ocean”. When the ocean was churned for the first time, four Vedas came out and Brahma took them all. When the three children brought the Vedas to mother, she said that – Brahma may keep the four Vedas and read them.

Note: In reality, Purna Brahm (Complete God) had given five Vedas to Brahm i.e. Kaal/ Sadashiva. But Brahm manifested only four Vedas. He hid the fifth Veda, which the Supreme God, by Himself appearing, has manifested through KavirgirbhiH, that is, Kavir Vaani (Kabir Speech) by means of proverbs and couplets.

Origin of Goddess Lakshmi

Reference: Shrimad Devi Bhagwat MahaPuran Sabhashtikam Samhatyam , Khemraj Shri Krishna Das Prakashan Mumbai; Sanskrit text, translation in Hindi. Third Skand, Adhyay 4, Page 10, Shlok 42  and Page no. 11-12 Adhyay 5, Shlok 8 and 12

On churning the ocean the second time, three girls came out. Mother Mahalaxmi/ Ashtangi distributed all the three. Prakriti (Durga) herself acquired three other forms (Savitri, Lakshmi and Parvati) and hid in the ocean. Then, she came out during the churning of the ocean. That same Prakriti acquired three forms and was given in the form of ‘Savitri’ to god Brahma, ‘Lakshmi’ to god Vishnu and ‘Parvati’ to god Shankar, as wives. Later gods and demons etc were born due to the effect of Rajogun. From here life started in Kaal’s realm.

This is the truth of the origin of Goddess Laxmi.. Having understood that Laxmi Devi is the form of Mahalaxmi and her consort is Shri Vishnu let us move ahead to know about their placement in Human body.

Placement of Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi in Human Body Chakras

Reference: Pious Kabir Sagar, in Kabir Vani chapter on page no.111

Sant Garib Das Ji has given the detailed description about placement of gods and goddesses in human body in his nectar speech in ‘Brahmbedi”. He has said that the Supreme God has made different parts in the human body. He has made five lotus Chakras on the inner side of the backbone (spine).

1. Mool Chakra: - This Chakra is present an inch above the end of the backbone near the anus. Its god is Shri Ganesh. This lotus has 4 petals.

2. Swaad Chakra: - This is stuck two-fingerbreadths above the Mool Kamal on the inner side of the backbone. Its god is Shri Brahma Ji and his wife Savitri Ji. This lotus has six petals.

3. Naabhi Chakra: - This is stuck to the backbone behind the navel. Its god is Shri Vishnu Ji and his wife Lakshmi Ji. This lotus has 8 petals.

Nabhi kamal mein Vishnu Vishambhar, Jahan Lakshmi sang vaas hai ||
‘Hariyam’ naam japant Hansa, janat birla das hai ||

4. Hridya  Chakra: - This lotus is stuck to the backbone at the level of the center of the two nipples. Its god is Shri Shiv Ji and his wife Parvati Ji. This lotus has 12 petals.

5. Kanth Chakra : - This lotus is present along the backbone behind the place where the rib cage ends and the neck begins. Its goddess is ‘Avidhya’ that is, Durga Ji/ Mahalaxmi with whose influence the wisdom and devotion of the creature destroys. This lotus has 16 petals. Kaal Niranjan also stays with her in subtle form.

Kanth kamal mein basey avidhya, gyan dhyan buddhi nasahee ||
Leel chakra Madhya kaal karmum, aawat dum kun fansahee ||

6) The complete God KavirDev resides in the ‘Sangam Chakra’. This has 3 petals. This is governed by the mind. In the second petal and in the third Brahm-Kaal resides in mind form along with crore other young deities. It is chanted 1000 times.

7) In the seventh ‘Kamal-Chakra’ called ‘Surati Kamal/ Trikuti Kamal’ Satguru resides. It has two petals. It is chanted 1000 times.

This makes clear that Goddess Mahalakshmi/ Durga resides in ‘Kanth Kamal’ whereas Goddess Laxmi resides in ‘Nabhi Kamal’ in the human body. So where do both Goddesses reside in Kaal’s realm? Let us find out.

Where does Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi Reside?

Goddess Durga has a separate island of her own in every brahmand out of 21 but as Mahalaxmi she resides with her consort Brahm in MahaVishnu form in the secret area built which is Satogun dominated. Residing there as husband wife, Goddess Mahalaxmi gives birth to a son whom they name Vishnu, endows him with Satogun  and keeps him in coma until he grows young. Then they allocate him the responsibility of heading the Satogun department, which means preservation (keeping souls trapped in bondage of affection with each other). Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu reside in ‘Vaikunth’ which is deep inside the ocean. There Lord Vishnu reclines on the serpent bed along with his consort Goddess Lakshmi.

Now let us know their way of worship and true mantras which pleases them when chanted in the correct way

What is the Mantra of Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi?

The idols and pictures of Goddess Lakshmi portray her as an elegantly dressed woman holding a Lotus flower and sitting on a Lotus throne which seems to be symbolic of fortune and spiritual liberation. Out of sheer ignorance seekers chant various Laxmi mantras to enhance their health, wealth and relationships like ‘Om Shring Hring Kling Tribhuvan Mahalakshmyai Asmaakam Daaridray Naashay Prachur Dhan Dehi Dehi Kling Hring Shring Om’. Yet another mantra chanted is ‘Om Shring Shriye Namah’ or ‘Om Aing Hring Shring Jyesth Lakshmi Swayambhuve Hring Jyesthayai Namah’ etc. Devotees worship her by chanting such mantras as told in folklore which nowhere are proven in any Hindu religious scriptures like Vedas, Puranas or Gita Ji. By reciting these mantras, goddess Lakshmi does not shower grace. This is an arbitrary way of worship which is useless and has been prohibited in Gita Chapter 16 Verse 23.

Diwali is a big festival celebrated by Hindus which is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Lakshmi wherein seekers offer betel leaf, lotus flower, lotus seed, sweets and much more intending to please the goddess. The foolishness of devotees is seen when they even worship brooms considering it to be symbolic of Laxmi Devi. Such foolishness of ignorant devotees is due to the outcome of the Trigunmayee Maya in Kaal Brahm’s realm where all creatures are trapped in illusion as Kaal promised at inception to Almighty that he will keep engage his children (we souls) in useless worship like visiting pilgrimages, idol worship, visiting Temples, Mosques, Churches, Gurudwara and following fake religious gurus who cannot provide them happiness rather it will be a sheer wastage of their precious human birth which is obtained to fulfill the sole purpose of attainment of salvation. This is how he fools and betrays naïve souls and keeps them trapped in his web. This is a huge trap of Kaal which is exposed by God Kavir Dev who descends to this deceased world to impart true spiritual knowledge and grants true salvation mantras and provides the right way of worship by which souls become eligible to attain emancipation. He plays the role of an enlightened saint. Today a renowned spiritual world leader is Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj who is providing true salvation mantras of Goddess Mahalaxmi and Laxmi Devi and other divinities chanting which devotees are getting benefits day and night. These powerful mantras provide happiness and prosperity to devotees in this life as well as afterlife. Hence, seekers, readers are advised to take initiation from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj to get their welfare done and become eligible to attain salvation.

Mortal Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi cannot Provide Prosperity

The 21 universes of Kshar Purush/ Brahm Kaal are destructible (Gita Chapter 2 Verse 17) . In Holocaust everything destroys even creatures, deities, Heaven, Hell, Nether world  so dies Durga / Mahalaxmi and Goddess Laxmi. When these deities are mortal and are in the vicious cycle of birth and death it is understood they cannot provide immortality,  wealth and happiness to their worshippers. Their powers are very limited and can only provide work done means Karma.

God Kabir says

Gun teeno ki bhakti mein, yeh bhool pado sansaar ||
Kahe Kabir nij naam bina, kaise utron paar ||

Teen dev ki jo karte bhakti, unki kadey naa hovey mukti ||

Meaning: The worshippers of Hindu Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) and their consorts do not attain salvation. These Gods themselves are in the vicious cycle of birth and death. Only by chanting their true mantras can one cross this realm of Kaal.

Here comes the role of immortal God as told in Gita Chapter 14 Verse 5 who is the ocean of happiness and nurtures everyone in the three realms. He only should be worshiped. He in reality is the provider of prosperity and wealth and not Goddess Lakshmi.

Who is the Provider of Salvation? Goddess Mahalaxmi or Goddess Laxmi?

As proved above both Goddess Mahalakshmi as well as Goddess Laxmi are mortal. They themselves haven’t attained salvation so how can they provide the same to their worshippers? None of the two can grant liberation since worship of both Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddesses Laxmi is arbitrary, it is against the injunctions of holy scriptures and holds no evidence in any scriptures. Salvation is only attained by the true worship of Almighty Kabir the creator of the entire universe after taking initiation from enlightened saints (Gita Chapter 15 Verse 4).

Important: Naam (Updesh/Initiation) should not be taken only with a viewpoint to remove sorrows, rather should be taken for self-welfare. Then with sumiran all the joys come automatically. Here God Kabir says

Kabir, sumiran se sukh hot hai, sumiran se duHkh jaay ||
Kahaen Kabir sumiran kiye, Saain maahin samaay ||”

The worship of God Kabir is all proven. He is the liberator, the Savior and its evidence has been mentioned in holy scriptures Gita Chapter 15 Verse 16, 17, Chapter 18 Verse 62, 64, 66, Chapter 13 Verse 22 and in Rigved Mandal 10 Sukt 161 Mantra 2 and at many other places.

Note: Being goddess although both have limited powers more than human beings yet they are unfortunate. They cannot grant and attain salvation since only human beings are fortunate to do true worship and attain emancipation. Until these souls seated on the post of Goddess get human birth they will remain deprived of attaining salvation.

 Conclusion

The following conclusion has been derived from afore-mentioned shreds of evidence.

  • Goddess Mahalakshmi and Goddess Lakshmi are two separate deities.
  • Goddess Mahalaxmi is Goddess Durga/ Bhavani/ Ashtangi whose consort is Satan Brahm Kaal and Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva are her three sons
  • Goddess Laxmi is another form of Durga Devi whose consort is Lord Vishnu
  • Neither Goddess Mahalakshmi nor Goddess Lakshni is the provider of wealth and prosperity but God Kabir is the provider of prosperity.
  • Both Goddess Mahalakshmi and Laxmi are mortal.
  • Goddess Mahalaxmi and Devi Lakshmi can’t alter the karma of an individual and thus can’t advance any favor to an individual. They can only provide us the things which are there in our karma. Supreme God Kabir is only powerful who can alter our karma and provide us with worldly pleasures.
  • Similar to all souls residing in Kaal's world, the permanent residence of Goddess Mahalaxmi and Goddesses Laxmi is eternal world Satlok.

The true salvation mantra to attain Supreme God/ Satpurush/ Param Akshar Brahm has been mentioned in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17 Verse 23 which is ‘OM-Tat-Sat’ (Coded) which the enlightened saint discloses (Gita Chapter 4 Verse 34). He is worshipable God and not Goddess Laxmi therefore, seekers should abandon her worship and do devotion to Almighty Kabir to attain Salvation.

Goddess Laxmi or Mahalaxmi are both considered other forms of Goddess Durga, who is self-created and the mother of all. She sustains the entire universe and is immortal.
