The triple illusion, Trigunmayi Maya of Jyoti Niranjan Kaal, does not let people believe who God is. Who should be worshipped? What is the correct way to attain salvation?.
Due to a lack of true spiritual knowledge, virtuous souls aspiring to attain God get engaged in worship of those unimportant objects which are insignificant and carry no evidence in any certified holy scriptures. In Hinduism, along with idol worship, as a matter of faith the naive devotees worship trees and plants like Peepal, Tulsi (Basil), Neem, Amla, Ashoka, Banyan, Bael (Bilva), Banana, Mango (Amra tree), Shami tree etc. due to ignorance, considering nature as a form of gods, goddess who possess spiritual properties hence, provide them prosperity and liberation. They consider these trees and plants to be the abode of their respected gods like Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Goddess Laxmi, Shani Dev and several other deities. But the truth is ignorant seekers remain far from attaining God, rather they land up wasting their precious human life by performing these baseless religious practices and keep suffering in 84 lakh life-forms.
In this article, we will demystify beliefs associated with the tradition of worshipping the Tulsi plant as the Goddess. We will highlight this deeply rooted arbitrary practice prevalent in Hindu community of worshipping Tulsi (Tulsi Pujan) which is a symbolic tradition of pleasing Satogun Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna who are revered deities of the believers of Vaishnavism in Hinduism. These naive Hindu devotees consider Tulsi/ Vrinda a goddess who provides them prosperity in their present life and emancipation afterlife.
This prevalent myth will be exposed with the shreds of evidence from Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Suksham Veda. We will also prove that none of these plants and trees have any spiritual significance and the one and only God is Kavir Dev, the creator of the entire universe. He should only be worshipped by seekers aiming to attain salvation.
Note: The reference has been taken from Sukshma Veda, Bhagavad Gita, spiritual discourses of Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and sacred books ‘Kabir Bada Ya Krishna’, ‘Gyan Ganga’ written by him.
Tulsi in Hindu mythology holds immense spiritual significance and is revered as ‘Maa’ (mother/goddess), the earthly manifestation of Devi Laxmi, the consort of Shri Vishnu. Vishnu Ji is the second son of Brahm Kaal and Ashtangi/ Prakriti Devi Durga. Tulsi is called ‘Vishnupriya’, being the steadfast devotee of Lord Vishnu. Hindus give high respect to the sacred Tulsi plant as it symbolises purity and divinity. The holy Basil in Sanatan Dharma is often associated with Vrinda, who became a plant after a curse.
Together with holding immense spiritual significance, the plant also possesses potent medicinal properties, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory benefits; hence, Tulsi is called ‘queen of herbs’.
There are predominantly two legendary beliefs associated with the origin of Tulsi.
The first one, ways back to the time when the ocean was churned. The nectar pot obtained from it was protected from demons by Lord Vishnu in Mohini form by a trick and successfully handed over to deities. He got overjoyed in his successful attempt due to which tears of joy started flowing from his lotus-eyes which fell in the pot filled with nectar and took the form of Tulsi.
The second popular legendary belief reveals the character of Gods in Kaal’s realm. Before we proceed to provide evidence for the same let us first know
Vrinda, Devi Laxmi’s incarnation, was the daughter of the demon king Kalanemi and the wife of Daitya King Jalandhar. Vrinda was a devoted wife, and her immense chastity made Jalandhar invincible. Despite being born in the Asura clan, she was an ardent worshipper of Satogun Shri Vishnu. Tulsi is the transformation of Vrinda. Moving ahead, we will know why Vrinda transformed into a Tulsi plant.
There is no trace of happiness in the 21 universes of Kaal. Vices dominate not just human beings but also Gods in this realm. The mythological stories reveal there is a constant fight between deities (Devas) and demons (Asuras) over supremacy and the establishment of righteousness.
After the well-known episode of the self-immolation of Devi Sati, Lord Shiva was drowned in profound sorrow and became detached from the world. To kill vices deeply rooted within, Shiva got engrossed in deep meditation. He did severe austerity for ten thousand years and thought he had won over vices. Then onwards, he exemplified a life of restraint. He burnt Kamdev to ashes, but later found himself engrossed in sensual desires, when he could not resist the captivating allure of Mohini form of Lord Vishnu and held his hand, intending to fulfil his desires. Vice-like lust still dominated Lord Shiva.
Once Shiva/ Shankar got highly furious with Lord Indra, as a result, his third eye opened, from which fire was released, which was diverted into the ocean. A demon was born from Lord Shiva’s rage, who was named Jalandhara (son of the ocean). This demon King became invincible after Lord Brahma granted him a boon that only Shiva Ji can destroy him thereafter. Jalandhar ruled the region. He conquered three worlds, challenged and began tormenting the gods and became a menace to them due to his arrogance. Jalandhar desired to possess Devi Parvati.
Jalandhar, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, also derived his invincibility from the chastity (pativrata) of his wife Vrinda. When Shri Vishnu violated the chastity of Vrinda, then only could Shiva kill Jalandhar.
Interpretation: Both the aforementioned legendary beliefs highlight -
Sukshma Veda provides evidence that Brahma Ji, in his endeavour to search for his father Jyoti Niranjan/ Kshar Purush, miserably failed then he did intercourse with Gayatri and Puhapvati for them to witness his lie about his success in finding his father, on which his mother Goddess Durga got annoyed and cursed him not to be worshipped.
In the context of exposing the character of the Hindu Triumvirate, respected Sant Garibdas Ji Maharaj tells in his nectar speech
Das Garib, Yeh Chook Dhuron Dhur||
Meaning: This evil in Gods of Kaal Brahm's realm has existed since starting.
Vrinda, the devoted wife of Jalandhar upon realizing that she has been betrayed by her respected Lord Vishnu, she was enraged and heartbroken, as a result she cursed him to turn into a stone (Shaligram). Vrinda did Self-immolation. From her ash a Tulsi plant emerged. In turn, Lord Vishnu praised her devotion and promised that henceforth, Tulsi will be worshipped as holy plant and will be offered to him as Prasad in all religious rituals associated with him.
Note: This episode reveals the shameful act of Trilokiye Shri Vishnu Ji, whom Hindu devotees consider supreme God, eternal-immortal. Instead of questioning and condemning his cheapness, a false story is preached by religious gurus over decades giving a clean chit to Vishnu Ji where people try to justify Vishnu Ji's behaviour saying ‘it was God’s spectacle. God did this to establish peace and protected deities from Jalandhar. Thus, Vishnu Ji established righteousness.
The fact is Vishnu Ji was incapable of defeating Jalandhar hence, adopted this shameful act of breaking Vrinda's chastity by deception. The same was the situation of Shri Shiva Ji who killed Jalandhar only when Vrinda's chastity was violated and the protective shield of Jalandhar had collapsed.
Important: Here Kaal's trick and maze needs to be understood by devotees. Sukshma Veda certifies an episode, where in the very first Satyuga when Almighty Kabir came in the world of Kaal noticing the atrocity he (satan) does to God's beloved souls and told him that He (God) will expose him (devil) and will take back His children to their native place at that time, Kaal replied that in Kalyuga he will misguide people to perform useless and wrong devotion like worshipping idols, insignificant objects, pilgrimage, visiting temples etc. No one will listen to the knowledge of supreme God rather will advocate for him (Kaal) and revolt against God's representative.
Yahi vidhi jeevan ko bharmaun, Purush Naam jeevan samjhaun ।।
Dwadus panth Naam Jo lehe, so humre mukh aan samehi ।। Kaha tumhara jeev nahi mane, hunri ore hoye baad bakhane ।।
Mein dadhe phanda rachi banayee, jame jeev rahe urjhayee ।।
Deval dev pashan pujayee, teerath vrat jap-tap mun layee ।। Yagya home aru name achara, aur anek phand me dara।। Jo gyani jao sansara, jeev na mane kaha tumhara।।
Vrinda's curse to Shri Vishnu Ji gave rise to useless idol (Shaligram stone) worship, which Kaal wanted. Ignorant Hindu devotees, especially the Vaishnavas, during the month of Kartik organise Tulsi Vivah every year. Tulsi plant is ceremonially married to Shaligram (Vishnu’s stone form). This is a useless ritual and symbolic of superstition
Sukshma Veda tells that ignorants advocate for Tulsi and Shaligram (Stone) worship.
Jaise Salakh Shila pujave hai, Tulsi tod marod murakh jad pe phool chadhave hai||
In this way, Kaal keeps devotees misled and far from the correct way of worship of God Kabir. He does such deception so that people should not do true devotion to God Kabir and should not be liberated from his web. Kaal fears that if people come to know about his reality, then all souls by performing scriptures-based true devotion will go to Satlok. Then what will he (Kaal) eat?. He will die of hunger.
Note: Jyoti Niranjan is cursed to eat one lakh subtle bodies of human beings daily and produce 1.25 lakh every day. This detailed information has been mentioned in the creation of universes in the Sukshma Veda. God Kabir is the creator whom all souls residing in 21 universes have forgotten due to the influence of Kaal's Trigunmayi Maya (illusion). .
In this context, respected Sant Garib Das Ji Maharaj tells in the Sukshma Veda
Garib, Ved padhe par bhed na Jane ye banche Purana 18, aur patthar ki Pooja karein bhool gaye srijanhara||
Some spiritual organisations like ISKCON, Gaudiya Math, Pushtimarg, and Vaishnava Sampradaya, which consider Lord Krishna to be the supreme God, advocate for Tulsi worship and spread certain myths that misguide God-loving souls and keep them engaged in wrong devotion, which does not provide seekers with any spiritual benefits. Their beliefs are:-
The foundational Hindu scriptures dispel these age-old myths. These organisations preach the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita worldwide, but they have hardly understood the true meaning of its verses.
In Gita Chapter 16, Verse 23-24, it has been clearly mentioned that the way of worship opposed to the scriptures is useless. Those who abandoning the ordinances of scriptures follow the way of worship according to their whimsical desires like worshiping several divinities, idol worship, ghost-pitras worship, visit places of pilgrimage, do severe austerity, worship Peepal-Jaandi, Tulsi plant, Jaap of Naam without a guru, keep fast, circumambulation of Govardhan or Tulsi etc. all such practices are opposed to scriptures, such seekers do not become happy nor do they attain liberation. Devotion according to the ordinances of the scriptures is only fruitful.
Tulsi worship is not a certified way of worship according to the Gita; hence, it's arbitrary and useless. Devotees should not believe the aforementioned myths.
Sukshma Veda is the fifth Veda, which is the collection of nectar speeches of Sachidanand Ghan Brahm, uttered from the lotus-mouth of the creator of the entire universes, the supreme God Kavir Dev. His Tatvagyan is an eye-opener for seekers engaged in arbitrary worship.

‘Comment on the worship of Peepal, Jandi tree and Tulsi plant’
Peepal puje jandi puje, sir Tulsa ke hoyeeyan। Doodh-Poot me khair rakhiyo, nyun pujun sun tohiyan । ।4।।
Meaning: - Supreme God Kabir Ji has described other practices of those who do blind devotion. He says how ignorant spiritual gurus have cheated innocent people by making them do low-level practices. Misled by ignorant gurus, they worship the peepal and Jandi trees, and the basil (tulsi) plant. They pray to them that they worship all of you so that you may protect their milk, i.e., their milch animals, and their sons and grandsons, i.e., their animals may produce milk all the time and that our sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons do not die. You all provide them protection.
Supreme God Kabir Ji has explained that, 'O blind worshippers! Use your intelligence at least a little. Animals harm those who are inert (roots, which cannot move). They are unable to protect themselves. The goat eats the Tulsi plant. It cannot protect itself. By worshipping trees and plants, you hope for an increase in wealth and protection of your family. They themselves are helpless. How will they protect you? It is your blind faith that poses a threat to your precious human life. That is, your human life will be destroyed if you abandon the spiritual practice prescribed by the scriptures and adopt arbitrary practices that are contrary to the scriptures.
The phrase
“Peepal puje jandi puje, sir Tulsa ke hoyeeyan” in this speech, "sir hona'
means out of ignorance,
repeatedly requesting a task from someone who actually can't do it. He tells the innocent person, "Why are you after me? I can't do this for you". God Kabir explains that you expect performing a task from those who are incapable of carrying out your work, that which cannot be accomplished by anyone except God, and who are themselves helpless. This is your ignorance.

Patthar peetal se kar hai neha, bhool gaye Narayan deha. Aatma tatva ka marm na jaana, pujat phirein jad paashaana. Kaale mukh ka patthar boli, ya moorti tumse nahi boli. Moorti ko patte todain, Mohan bhog aape loadein. Yo bhi baida hai, baide se bhed alaida. Yo bhi baida. Bahda kyun jaana, hum satguru bheten yun jaana.
God Kabir tells that due to ignorance, people worship stones and brass idols that cannot speak. They are given a shape by a sculptor or an ironsmith by hammering or heating. How did your heart accept that this is God? You have forgotten Satguru, who came in Nar Narayan's body.
Ignorants worship the inert stone. Do they not know who the supreme God is?
Parakh lijiye, shabad patiye, aur shalig shila poojavai hai||
Aur tulsi tod marodai moorakh. Phir jad par phool chadhave hain|| Moodh anaadi, jad tain taadi||
The ignorant worship stones (Shaligram) and offer Tulsi leaves to Shivling. All this is useless practice. Foolish people offer prayers in front of the stone idols.
God Kabir says
“Patthar pujey hari miley to mein puju pahad, Tate to chakki Bhali pees khaye sansar||
Meaning: If God can be found by worshipping stones, then I will worship mountains. It's better to pray to the grinding stone (Chakki), at least it grinds wheat flour, which satiates every person.
God Kabir says the sinful souls do not like to listen to true knowledge of God and find ways to either ignore or escape discussing God’s knowledge.
Tulsi pichhle paap se, Hari charcha na suhave। Ke unghe ke Utth chale, ke ore baat chalave।।
Meaning: Just as a fever makes a patient lose their appetite, similarly, due to the influence of sins, a person loses interest in discussing God. He will either doze off during a satsang or start discussing something else. If someone tells him not to speak, then he will get up and leave.
Hindu devotees consider Tulsi as the Goddess who brings prosperity in life; hence, to please her, they chant mantras like
- महाप्रसाद जननी सर्व सौभाग्य वर्धिनी। अधि व्याधि हर नित्यं तुलसी त्वां नमोस्तुते||
Mahaprasada Janani Sarva Saubhagya Vardhini. Adhi Vyadhi Hara Nityam Tulasi Tvam Namostute||
- नमस्तुलसि कल्याणि नमो विष्णुप्रिये शुभे । नमो मोक्षप्रदे देवि नमः संपत्प्रदायिके ॥
Namastulasi Kalyani, Namo Vishnu Priye Shubhe।
Namo Moksha-Prade Devi, NamaH Sampat-Pradayike ।।
Vrinda Vrindavani Vishva-Pujita Vishva-Pavani|
Pushpa-Saara Nandiniya Tulasi Krishna-Jeevani||
Etan Nama-Ashtakam Chaiva Stotram Naamartha-Sanyutam|
Yah Pathet Taam Cha Sampujya Sa Ashvamedha Phalam Labhet||
- मातस्तुलसि गोविन्दहृदयानन्दकारिणि । नारायणस्य पूजार्थं चिनोमि त्वां नमोऽस्तु ते ॥
Matas Tulasi Govinda-Hridaya-Ananda-Karini.
Narayanasya Pujartham Chinomi Tvam Namo’stu Te.
Tulasi Bhur Mahalakshmih Padmini Shri Hari-Priya.
Tulasi Shri-Sakhi Shubhe Paap-Harini Punyada.
Namaste Narada-Nute Narayana-Manah-Priye.
None of the aforementioned Tulsi mantras finds mention in any of the foundational Hindu scriptures. The believers of the Tulsi plant as Goddess surely read Srimad Bhagavad Gita, which mentions in Chapter 17, Verse 23 that salvation can only be attained by chanting the mantra of Param Akshar Brahm/ SatPurush, which is: Om-Tat-Sat’ (coded). The enlightened saint whose identity has been told in Chapter 15, Verse 1-4, 16 and 17 decodes these salvation mantras. By duly chanting these mantras till the end of life, the God-loving souls who aim to be liberated from the dangerous trap of Satan Kaal go to the Sanatan ultimate abode Satlok by the grace of God Kabir, who Himself resides there. Their vicious cycle of birth-death finishes forever, and such liberated souls happily relish all comforts in the eternal world.
In Gita Chapter 18 Verse 62, the knowledge giver of Gita tells warrior Arjuna to take refuge in the supreme God by all means, with which the seeker attains supreme peace and the Sanatan ultimate abode.
In Gita Chapter 18 Verse 64, the Gita orator (Brahm Kaal) accepts that his revered God is also the same supreme God/ SatPurush Kavir Dev.
The point is that neither Tulsi is a Goddess nor do the mantras chanted provide any spiritual benefit to seekers. At most, the Basil plant possesses certain medicinal properties. The misguided souls should abandon this useless practice and worship the supreme God Kavir Dev to get prosperity in this life as well as permanent happiness in the afterlife.
Jagatguru Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is Himself a divine incarnated from His immortal abode Satlok. God Kabir, in the form of an enlightened saint, is preaching His true spiritual knowledge, which condemns arbitrary worship like Tulsi, idol worship, and worshipping Shaligram. God clearly mentions that true devotion to the Almighty Kabir only liberates souls from the trap of Kaal; hence, seekers should abandon unscriptural worship and aim to attain salvation so that their ages-long disease of birth and rebirth finishes forever. He is providing certified salvation mantras, Satnaam and Sarnaam.
